Easec Response To Global COVID-19 Outbreak
March 26, 2020
The outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19) is front-of-mind for all of us. Easec is taking a precautionary approach to managing the spread of COVID-19, which is in line with the latest national health advice.
Our aim is that the support for our clients and customers continues to be provided with no, or minimal, disruption. We have the technology and capability to work remotely and we have the business continuity planning in place to ensure our customers’ needs will be addressed, and our business operations will continue.
Centralised information, planning and expertise
Our first priority is the safety of our clients and staff. Easec has developed a COVID-19 Working Group to ensure we are sharing information and optimizing our preparation and management of any issues that may arise from the COVID-19 outbreak. Our working group monitors the local situation for each office daily, and bases all our centralised advice and screening protocols on the Australian Department of Health advice and daily updates.
As much as possible, our operations will proceed as normal. In the event of any disruption or change, we will keep you fully informed.
As much as possible, our operations will proceed as normal. Through the use of telephone, email and video conferencing our staff are continuing to provide high quality assessment and rehabilitation services to our clients and customers. Our video conferencing facilities allow us to connect with your workers “face to face”, providing continuity of care. Video conferencing can be used for case conferences, workplace meetings or review appointments.
Easec is open for new referrals.
YOUR clients visiting our premises OR OUR staff visiting your premises
Easec is now avoiding all in-person contact wherever possible. All of our Allied Health Professionals are well equipped with the resources and technology to deliver quality services via telehealth options such as telephone, email and videoconferencing.
We understand that for some industries there remains a need for front line staff to remain in work and continue to provide a high level of care. For these valued workers we are also still available to provide in-person assessments were required – following a thorough risk assessment and with appropriate precautions, PPE and social distancing adhered to as required by the Chief Medical Officer. Your workers are performing a valuable role to ensure ongoing support to the community and we are available to support you to help keep your workers safe and healthy at work.
Protocols, support and considerations for our people
If any of our team members are unwell, we ask they do not come into the office. This is for any illness, whether respiratory or not. It is an especially important principle at the moment.
Easec has implemented a robust screening tool which is implemented prior to performing any home-based or work-based appointments. We recognise that in most cases, our usual client and customer meetings will be able to go ahead via telehealth measures, and as much as possible we will be taking a “business as usual approach”.
As always, EASEC puts the health and safety of our people, customers and clients at the forefront of our thinking and actions. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if there are any issues you would like to discuss.
