The assessment may take 1 to 2 hours and can involve a friendly discussion about your submitted D9319 claim form, the impact of your conditions on household tasks and a brief tour of your home environment. The OT may provide advice around strategies to maximise functional independence and can also point you in the right direction for other veteran specific or community-based support services to help you in the home. Easec OT’s are all highly experienced, well trained and well supported. You can be sure that your Easec OT will approach each interaction with care and integrity.
What can I expect from the OT during the assessment?
