Celebrating OT Week 2025 ‘Occupational Therapy in Action’
This week, from 27 October to 2 November, we’re proudly joining the national celebration of OT Week 2025, a time to recognise and celebrate the incredible work of occupational therapists (OT’s) across Australia.
This year’s theme, ‘Occupational Therapy in Action,’ highlights the creativity, problem-solving, and compassion that sit at the heart of every occupational therapist’s work. It’s about recognising how OTs empower people to live full and meaningful lives — by helping them do the things that matter most.
At Easec, this theme truly resonates. Every day, multidisciplinary team that includes occupational therapists put these values into practice, supporting individuals to rebuild confidence, regain independence, and re-engage in meaningful work and life roles.
Occupational Therapy in Action – The Easec Way
Across our organisation, our OTs bring ‘Occupational Therapy in Action’ to life in countless ways:
- Creativity: Designing tailored approaches that fit each client’s goals, whether that’s adapting a work environment, developing new daily routines, or supporting return-to-work planning after injury.
- Problem-solving: Navigating complex challenges like chronic pain, workplace reintegration, or adjusting to new physical or psychological realities.
- Compassion: Building trust, listening deeply, and walking alongside clients as they work towards independence and participation in the things that give life meaning.
It’s these qualities that make our OTs such a vital part of Easec.

Together, we’re celebrating not only a profession, but a purpose.
Happy OT Week 2025 from all of us at Easec!
